The birth of the house was sparked by a prestigious, chance commission from Chanel Fine Jewellery to create an exceptional scented candle. Operating from her kitchen atelier, Linda’s flawless execution quickly caught the attention of London’s cognoscenti. In October 2001, Ormonde Jayne opened its boutique doors in London’s prestigious Royal Arcade on Old Bond Street, ushering in a new era for British luxury perfume.
