Picture being granted access to a monarch's private, dimly lit study deep within a palace in the dead of winter. The heavy mahogany doors close behind you, sealing you in a room filled with ancient, leather-bound books and dark, polished woods. In the corner, a small brass burner releases the slow, hypnotic smoke of pure agarwood and exotic spices. On the heavy wooden desk sits a cup of dark, freshly roasted espresso next to a pair of worn, expensive leather gloves.
